%Shanghai Jichong Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd. (the Company) was established in December 2018. It is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research, development, and commercialization of hydrogen fuel cells with independent intellectual property right. The first-generation stack MH170 developed by the Company has set industry records in terms of single stack power, power density, and low-temperature self-starting. By the end of 8.2024. the Company had applied for 182 patents, with 106 patents being authorized. The Company has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, a “Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive, and Innovative” enterprise of Shanghai, an innovative small and medium-sized enterprise of Shanghai. It has passed ISO9001 quality management system certification and IATF:16949 quality management system certification.
Focusing on demonstration cities for hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, Jichong Hydrogen has completed its business deployment in Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xinxiang, Changzhou, Luoyang, Jinan, Dalian and other places. The core technical personnel are mostly from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University and other top universities and institutes, and they constitute a rare team in the industry that has both solid theoretical foundation and rich engineering experience.
MH170 has an output power of up to 216kW, with bare stack’s volumetric specific power reaching 4.7kW/L. It can achieve storage at -40℃ and unassisted start-up at -39℃, with all technical indicators reaching international first-class level. In addition, thanks to efforts by Jichong R&D team, the MH170 stack now has achieved output power of 376kW, which can match the 300kW system. So far, MH170 has completed the stack life and reliability test, system matching, and road testing on dump truck, hydrogen fuel heavy truck, hydrogen fuel municipal sanitation vehicle, fuel cell city bus, fuel cell washing and sweeping vehicle. For application of multiple models, the Company has rolled out the vehicle announcements. In addition, multiple models (such as logistics cold chain vehicle and agricultural machinery) are under development, and the application of ships and aircraft is in progress. In the energy sector, Jichong Hydrogen has successfully developed a 100W portable micro power supply, a 10kW fuel cell backup power supply, a 100kW fuel cell backup power supply. Simultaneously, other products such as distributed power supply and community combined heat and power system are under development.
In addition, in the upstream of the industry chain, Jichong Hydrogen has established Dalian Qingyi New Energy Co., Ltd. together with Dalian Jinyu and other enterprises to actively expand the fields of hydrogen production, storage, and transportation.
